THE OCTAGON BARN

Little Plumstead

The Octagon Barn is unique and the only building of its type, unchanged from its original design. It was built around the late 1600s as a non-conformist Methodist meeting chapel. The original 8 side shape sits under a magnificent open vaulted octagon roof, to give a grand central atrium.

Ahead of all performances you are welcome to arrive early to enjoy the grounds and this beautiful setting. Our bar will be open and you are welcome to bring a picnic. Come along and experience opera in this unique and relaxed environment.

Free parking is available on site.

HOW TO FIND THE OCTAGON BARN

Situated just 5 miles east of Norwich city centre, The Octagon Barn is easy to reach for those coming by train or taxi.
