Why Into Opera?
Opera is multidisciplinary storytelling at its very best. It explores the human condition through diverse characters and cultures. Opera connects us, inspires us, and moves us. It deepens our understanding of the world and other people.
However, Opera is very often the preserve of the privileged and many do not benefit. Into Opera is here to change this.
We create opera experiences to reach audiences who would never normally have access to the art-form. Whether on stage or in school classrooms, our purpose is to let everyone have the chance to get into opera.
Into Opera’s Work
We host a vibrant and welcoming opera festival every year and deliver bespoke education programmes in schools. Our goal is to share the wonder of opera with people who have not yet had the chance.
We need your help: in order to deliver our work we need to raise £300,000 each year.
